3lanse Compliant

Complete the core checks with in-date insurance on record and a green tick appears next to your name.

PQQ support for freelancers

Complete one prequalification questionnaire (PQQ), properly, instead of a new one for every client.

Once your profile meets the core checks, 3lanse invites you to complete the PQQ. It covers your business, insurance, health and safety record, experience with references, and standard declarations.

A 3lanse reviewer assesses your answers and evidence against defined requirements. If something needs attention, you get specific comments on the section concerned, so you know exactly what to add.

When it's accepted, your profile shows PQQ Compliant, and you are listed first when businesses search your discipline.

Frequently asked questions

Who can become a 3lancer?

Independent construction, engineering and project delivery professionals, including project and site managers, quantity surveyors, commercial managers, planners, civil engineers, temporary works professionals, health and safety and CDM professionals, and commissioning specialists.

Does 3lanse take a commission on my day rate?

No. You agree your rate directly with the business you work for and keep all of it. 3lanse is funded by small memberships paid by professionals and hiring businesses.

Can I use my existing CV to set up my profile?

Yes. Upload your CV when you join and 3lanse reads it to pre-fill your roles, dates, project values, accreditations and skills. You check and edit everything before it is saved.

What is the 3lanse PQQ?

A PQQ is a prequalification questionnaire. The 3lanse PQQ covers your business details, insurance, health and safety, experience and references, and standard declarations. You complete it once, a 3lanse reviewer assesses it and gives feedback, and when it is accepted your profile shows PQQ Compliant.

Will I still need to fill in other PQQs?

Some businesses will always have their own onboarding requirements. Having your information, evidence and references already organised and reviewed on 3lanse makes those requests quicker to answer.

Does 3lanse provide my insurance?

No. 3lanse stores your insurance documents, tracks their expiry dates and reminds you before they lapse. Arranging suitable cover remains your responsibility.

Can I create VAT invoices?

Yes. If you are VAT registered you can add your VAT number and apply standard or reduced rates, or the construction domestic reverse charge, with the required wording added for you.

Is 3lanse an agency?

No. 3lanse does not employ you or place you under an agency contract. Businesses contact you directly and you agree your own terms with them.

Keep your rate. Lose the repeated paperwork.
